Data Import and Export

Usage

A BUGtrack user has a possibility to process bug issue data even if he or she is not logged into BUGtrack - the system offers an ability to use external applications and email accounts for synchronizing with BUGtrack, importing or exporting data and performing operations of the system backup.

The Data Import and Export section covers the following areas:

• E-mail Interface Settings - processing bugs via e-mail accounts without logging into BUGtrack;

• Custom Entry Forms – allowing to submit new entries from outside of BUGtrack interface;

• Data Import – importing data into the BUGtrack system;

• Data Export – Excel Spreadsheet – exporting data from the BUGtrack system to MS Excel spreadsheets;

• Data Export – Complete Backup – creating a complete backup copy of BUGtrack data and storing it in a file of XML format.
