Customizing BUGtrack

Once you have decided to use BUGtrack and completed the registration process, your new system may be customized to precisely fit your work process. BUGtrack’s powerful customizing features provide a wide range of tools for adapting the application to your specific needs. This chapter contains a complete description of the customizing and administration options available in BUGtrack:

• Management – maintaining the organizational structure and workflow parameters;

• Administration – customizing and modifying the overall system preferences;

• Data Sharing – sharing the system information with your partners;

• Data Import and Export – importing or exporting data and performing operations of the system backup;

• User Preferences – changing basic user’s preferences;

• Reports Maintenance – creating and managing reports;

• Source Control Integration – allowing the user to integrate BUG track with CVS and Microsoft Visual Source Safe.

Please note that in order to change settings, a user should  have Administrative privileges (except for User Preferences).
