This feature is available only in BUGtrack Professional Edition.

Use

If it is required by your company’s policy to store data backup locally, BUGtrack allows downloading complete data snapshot in XML format using the web-query functionality. Such data snapshot can be saved locally for backup purposes or can be used for integration with third-party software.

Path

Admin tab – Export area – Create web-query to your database link.

Procedure

Step one. Select the Project and, if necessary, filter exporting data by specifying additional selection criteria. Make sure that you enter zero in the Show first … records field to get all records.

Press the Next button to proceed or the Reset button to restore default filter values.

Step two. Select XML as the output format and press the Select All button to mark all fields.

Press the Next button to proceed.

Step three. Right-click the here link below the URL text area and choose the Save Target As… option to download resulted XML file.

Note: Attachments will be exported in base64 format.

Resulted XML file size may be large if it i  ncludes attachments
